Issues Prior to Improving User Experience
Prior to implementing improvements, the app had a low rating on app stores, and the feedback we received on user satisfaction was less than satisfactory. This was especially true for the iOS version of the app which received several two-star ratings. Dissatisfaction stemmed from two things, the app was difficult to use and users experienced glitches during the use. We needed to make improvements immediately as there was a possibility that the app was causing new users to leave our service and impacting the existing user retention.
Agile Development in Coordination with On-the-ground Teams
We immediately got to work and made improvements based on the opinions that on-the-ground teams had collected directly from our customers based on their actual user experience and the issues they encountered. The in-house engineers and product team collaborated to gradually incorporate improvements into the app, including reviewing the UI/UX, stabilizing performance, and organizing and improving necessary features, thereby ensuring continuous quality improvement.
High ratings on both the App Stores and Google Play Store
As a result of these initiatives, ratings on app stores have improved substantially.
As indicated by our ratings figures, the app has high ratings and satisfaction levels. With continuous improvements, we have been able to develop an app that is reliable and convenient.
